Diliman Prep student is taekwondo best player

The Diliman Prep Taekwondo Varsity Grade School girls team won over-all champion in the Novice category at the recently-concluded 2010 SMART National Taekwondo Championships held July 31 and Aug 1, 2010 Ninoy Aquino Stadium. Adding to the glory were the awards bestowed upon Amber Acosta (5-Mayon) as Best Player, and Coach Nap Dagdagan Jr. as Best Coach. (more…)

PRISSAAP Youth Congress

Twelve high school students participated in the 10th PRISSAAP (Private Secondary Schools Association of the Philippines)  Youth Congress in Baguio City on July 1 to 3.

Participants discussed various topics working around the theme On the Threshold of the New Horizon: Training our youth to build a productive Philippines, builind upon the already excellent program of Diliman Prep to develop responsible and actively responsive citizens from among our youth. (more…)

1 vs. 600 Pinoy Ironmind Chess record

Jayson Gonzales, Pinoy Ironmind, ChessDiliman Prep has been invited to join 1 vs. 600 Pinoy Ironmind record-braking tournament on July 10-11 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila.  “Grandmaster Jayson Gonzales will try to become the newest ironman of chess as he tries to break the Guinness world record for most number of simultaneous opponents with a minimum success rate of 80-percent. Young cagers upset coaches in first H.A.T.C.H. game

The Diliman Prep High School Men’s basketball team beat their coaches and faculty in the first game of the H.A.T.C.H. (Home & Away Tournament Championship) conducted earlier this evening with a score 110/98. Gilbert Gamboa, one of the latest of Diliman Prep’s recruits from Gen. Santos City, bagged a huge 40 points. All seven Diliman Prep high school 2010 graduates–Crizelle Anne Grace Alcantara, Ilias Diaz, John Carlo Iwata, Wendy Sha Mae Orticio, Jonathan Manuel Ragay, Angelo Tabo and Katharine Zalavarria–who enrolled in Malayan University/Mapua this year reportedly have passed the  Mathematics  Program Exams for May 2010.
