DPS GS Basketball Girls team won the first game (23-11) against Southville International School last Feb. 26 2011. The DPS HS Basketball Girls Lost the first game (6-51) against Assumption Makati but they won their second game (40-38) against San Juan Parochial School.

With their kicks and physical strength, the grade school boys’ taekwondo players set another milestone in the sport when they were proclaimed overall champion in the SMART National Inter- School Taekwondo Championships held last September 25-26 at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Meanwhile, the girls’ taek jins also brought home honor to the school by landing first runner up in their division. As part of DPS’ excellent and disciplined athletic teams, the taekwondo SkyXplorers commit to continue the reputation of school in the sport that placed by Japoy Lizardo, Jyra lizardo, Mira Taculog and many others on the map.

The Diliman Prep Taekwondo Varsity Grade School girls team won over-all champion in the Novice category at the recently-concluded 2010 SMART National Taekwondo Championships held July 31 and Aug 1, 2010 Ninoy Aquino Stadium. Adding to the glory were the awards bestowed upon Amber Acosta (5-Mayon) as Best Player, and Coach Nap Dagdagan Jr. as Best Coach. (more…)
The Philippines will attempt to establish a new Guinness world swimming record for most number of swimmers in a non-stop 24-hour marathon relay with the staging of the first-ever Peace and Unity Swim on Dec. 10 at the Diliman Preparatory School swimming complex on Commonwealth Ave., Quezon City. The Diliman Prep High School Men’s basketball team beat their coaches and faculty in the first game of the H.A.T.C.H. (Home & Away Tournament Championship) conducted earlier this evening with a score 110/98. Gilbert Gamboa, one of the latest of Diliman Prep’s recruits from Gen. Santos City, bagged a huge 40 points.
