Academic Enhancements
Schools, if they wish to survive need to do some innovations, changing traditional beliefs because students now need more challenging academic and co-curricular activities to better prepare them for a higher level of learning the collegiate level.
- Development and reformulation of the Career Tracking/Stream Program not only for the 4th Year students but also for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Year students, starting in school year 2010-2011. Students are grouped and given additional subjects according to their aptitude and course preference in the Tertiary level.
- Inclusion of a Science Congress to showcase student’s research investigatory skills, as well as presentation and defense abilities to a team of scientific and technical experts.
- Integration of Singaporean Math into the curriculum of the Math program
- Re-launching of the expanded and enhanced English Campaign program, dubbed as “Be Bright, Speak English Right”
- Development and implementation of two new clubs:
- Robotics Club, which, on its first year, won the 1st Runner Up slot in the 2009 National Robotics Competition
- Debating Club whose members have been undergoing intensive training in preparation for actual competition.

- Implementation of the structured Reading Program for 1st Year students, using UBD (Understanding by Design)
- Inclusion of additional educational tours to specific government agencies and other firms to enrich the students learning experiences in-line with the stream program.
- Integration of socially-responsive projects and activities in the various curricular and co-curricular clubs activities.
- Acquisition of 6 new microscopes for the science laboratories
